Cliff shuttleEmory is committed to becoming a more sustainable, "green" campus and Emory's commute options programs supports the University's overall sustainability goals. One investment Emory has made in recent years, to reduce dependence on single occupancy vehicles, includes its investment in the largest university shuttle fleets in metro Atlanta. Did you know? • On average, Clifton community employees, visitors, students and neighbors use the Cliff shuttle system for over 200,000 trips per month. • Daily ridership on the shuttle system averages 2,300 rides for commuters who take Cliff to campus from park-n-ride lots at local malls instead of driving. • Emory's Cliff shuttle fleet of over 50 alternatively fueled buses (natural gas, electric or biodiesel) serves thousands of riders daily on five commuter routes, three campus connector routes and six intra-campus routes.

I see red every time I see the Crawford Long shuttle go through my neighborhood almost empty and without any stops for those of us who live in the Candler Park/Lake Claire area. If there could be even only one stop, say at the corner of Clifton and McLendon and one going back to Emory at Ponce de Leon and Clifton or Lulwater, many of us would take advantage of the shuttle service.
