Sustainability article: Farmers Market Berry Bash
April 27, 2009

blueberries and strawberries
Bring your market bags to the weekly farmers market, held Tuesdays from 2 to 6 p.m. on Emory's Cox Hall Bridge. The market vendors provide a wide variety of local, sustainable, healthy products, including organic produce, artisan breads, cheeses, farm fresh eggs, fresh salsas, handmade pasta, honey, organic nuts and much more!

Berry Bash celebrates Georgia berries on Tuesday, May 19. The Miles brothers from Miles Berry Farm in Baxley, Ga. will sell strawberries and blueberries directly to market customers. Additionally, strawberry shortcakes will be sold by H&F Bakery. For a mere $5, you will get a delicious serving of fresh strawberry shortcake with whipped cream! Blueberry cobbler will also be served inside Cox Dining Hall. Proceeds will benefit the farmers market.

FREE parking is available in the Fishbure and Peavine parking decks after 4:30 p.m.
