dancing feetGoing to an upcoming wedding and want to wow the guests and party-goers with your dance moves? Or do you simply want to get active and enhance your physical health and well-being? Well, dust those shoes off and take a spin at the upcoming Evening at Emory dance classes.

Wish you could do cool hip-hop moves like you see on TV? Imagine a dance class that's so energetic, you'll never want to be anywhere else. This is your chance to add some flavor to your step; In Hip-Hop for Beginners, participants will learn body isolations, hip-hop technique and fresh new dance routines. The eight-week course will be held at a dance studio in Buckhead. Tuition is $175; class begins Tuesday, Jan. 26 (7:35 to 8:35 p.m.).

Have fun while learning formal dancing styles at the Ballroom and Tea Dancing class. In this eight-session class, participants will learn basic ballroom and tea dancing, including such dances as the waltz, foxtrot, tango and other traditional ballroom dances. Tuition is $175 per couple; class begins Thursday, Jan. 28 (7:45 to 8:40 p.m.).
