Classes Help Cyclists Gear Up
January 23, 2009
Source: Community Partnership Update/February 2009
Has your bicycle been sitting dormant all winter collecting dust? Get your bike ready for warmer weather rides with Bicycle South's bi-monthly Lubes and Tubes class.
In this class, participants will learn how to patch and change an inner tube. Instructors will also cover the lubrication of the chain and cables, basic barrel adjustments (brakes and derailleurs) and general maintenance.
Classes will be held on the first Monday and third Thursday of each month. February’s classes will take place on the 5th and 19th and start promptly at 7:30 p.m. at Bicycle South (2098 N. Decatur Rd., Decatur 30033). Everyone in the cycling community is encouraged to attend. For more information about Lubes and Tubes, call 404-636-4444.
