Barnes & Noble Selected for Campus Bookstore

 When Emory's new bookstore opens on Oxford Road next spring, patrons can look for a new vendor running the operations on site. Barnes & Noble College Booksellers was recently selected to serve as the new bookstore vendor. The new facility, located a few hundred feet from Emory's main gate, will house the bookstore, a coffee shop and the new admissions office. Shoppers can get comfortable in the café-style seating curbside on Oxford Road, just a short walk from Emory Village.
The new bookstore will include academic, medical and student selections as other bookstores are consolidated. Similar to Georgia Tech's Barnes & Noble facility in Midtown, Emory's store will also have general audience selections of interest to the community. Approximately 40,000 titles will be housed there.
The three-story bookstore complex is the latest 'green' building on Emory's campus and is being built to achieve LEED Silver designation from the U.S. Green Building Council.
