CodeRED Weather WarningThe threat of severe weather is constantly looming overhead. So what can be done to make sure you are kept abreast of the latest hazards?

DeKalb County has expanded its CodeRED Emergency Notification System to include a weather warning that is designed to deliver weather warnings to resident's telephones within seconds after being issued by the National Weather Service. Weather notifications are issued for the immediate threats of severe thunderstorm warnings, flash flood warnings and tornado warnings.

The CodeRED Weather Warning will not call everyone on the list, only the immediately affected areas. If you would like to participate in the Weather Warning program, you must register. Only residents who sign up to receive the warnings will be contacted. Register for weather warnings here.
