Brain Train

The Brain Train is a proposed commuter rail line that would link the University of Georgia in Athens with downtown Atlanta. Along the way, there could be commuter rail stops in Gwinnett and DeKalb counties, Midtown and Emory's campus.
The potential to link several institutes of higher education, and commuter destinations make the Brain Train an attractive transit option. It would run on existing CSX rail lines.
A potential station on Emory's campus would serve not only Emory University and Healthcare commuters, but also the thousands of commuters who work within blocks at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta and the CDC.
