Live/Play Locally

Emory University employees and students who live closer to campus have shorter commutes and travel less on local roads. The university encourages its employees and students to live in housing near campus and use Emory's alternative transportation to commute during peak travel times.

If you are considering moving to the Clifton community, consider nearby housing options.

  • Emory Point, across from the CDC on Clifton Road, is walking distance from campus, and it offers a variety of floor plans in 750 apartment units managed by Gables leasing. This community offers state-of-the-art amenities linked to retailers in a walkable community setting.
  • Campus Crossings, located at Sage Hill on Briarcliff Road, is affiliated with Emory and offers housing through an independent leasing agent. This housing option is popular among Emory graduate students, and it is generally walkable to campus. The Emory Shuttles, which have a stop in front of Campus Crossings, provides free transport to campus.
  • Oleander is an Executive Park apartment complex built and managed by Toll Brothers. For Emory staff who work at Executive Park, it offers housing that is a short walk from work. Emory also provides a shuttle from Executive Park to the Clifton Road corridor.
  • There a variety of local communities immediately around campus, such as Druid Hills, Virginia-Highland, Morningside, Victoria Estates, Mason Mill, and LaVista Park, which offer a range of price points for rental or purchase.
