Multiuse trail at Clairmont Campus
Emory is partnering with the PATH Foundation on an important multiuse trail connection between PATH’s existing South Peachtree Creek trail network on the east side of Clairmont Road (Medlock Park and beyond) and Emory’s Clairmont Campus.
The paved trail, which would run under Clairmont Road at Peachtree Creek, will allow bicyclists and pedestrians to avoid crossing busy Clairmont Road at grade.
The path will run parallel to Clairmont Road and connect with existing bike lanes and sidewalks on Starvine Way in Emory’s Clairmont Campus. From there, bicyclists and pedestrians can connect to the Clifton Road corridor. The project is expected to begin construction in 2017.
